I have taken several sewing workshops with Arial and loved each and every one of them. She gives clear instructions, and is so patient, which is especially appreciated as a beginner who can make mistakes. Arial is always there to help fix it with reassurances and a smile! The stations are all set up neatly for you, you only have to bring yourself! As a result, I have linen pants, a baby doll dress, and an A-line dress I wear all the time in the cute fabric that I chose. Thank you, Arial!!

I attended a class with Sip & Sew to make a boys shirt & short set. I have sewn in the past, but haven’t done so in many years. Arial had everything we needed to make this cute set from the pattern and fabric to pins and clippers. She makes it so easy for beginners to more advanced sewers. She even had delicious snacks for us. If you have been thinking about learning how to sew or getting back into sewing make sure you check out the classes. I will definitely be taking another class soon.

Arial’s Sip & Sew workshops are the best! I was a new beginner when I took my first workshop with Arial. I now sew at home and I’ve taken several of her workshops since! Arial always selects beautiful modern patterns and gorgeous fabric. Arial cuts the pattern to your size, preps the fabric, and gets all your equipment organized, you just have to show up and sew! The workshops are fun, engaging, and Arial is patient, kind, and an expert seamstress – her creativity and friendly demeanor gets you excited to sew!

I’ve taken two Sip & Sew classes and would recommend to anyone over and over again. Arial is an incredible instructor. She sets up each student with tools and resources for the class and to take home. She’s also just a really great teacher and intuitively understands each person and what they need. She knows how to step in, gives really great explanations, and sets up a whole vibe for the entire class. I’ve made a pair of linen pants and the cutest shoes, both of which have become closet staples for spring and summer. I’m obsessed!

I’ve taken two of Arial’s sewing workshops and have loved them! I’m a beginner, so feel reassured she will help guide you on how to use a sewing machine. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident and get to leave the class with a new garment that you hand made and new friends!
